We can always use more Hands
ridin' for the CCC Brand!
We work real hard all year to rustle up a few months pay to finance our annual Fall Roundup. Anywhere from 6 to 15 (and growing, since the creation of this website!) Cowboy Cooking events each year, keep us pretty busy on an average of one weekend per month (check out our "Events" page). We're famous for our secret "Sorry-we'd-have-to-shoot-ya Peach Cobbler recipe" cooked with great skill in dutch ovens, over open fires. We also barbeque a specially seasoned meat for a main dish or sandwiches; then there's that ever curious Cowboy Coffee we brew over the campfire. Oh yeah, and there's biscuits and gravy and beans. At a large event, we can wear-out 20 or more members keeping things runnin' smooth!
It ain't no walk in the park! Our cooking events will cut the weak from the herd real quick. And you gotta have a comfy pair o'boots and mighty tough hide to stand all day loadin', unloadin', mixin', cookin', cleanin', re-loadin', etc. etc. .......but other than that, it's a lot of fun and we're a comically-rowdy bunch of folks to work with!! :-)
Of course there's other work to be done; our Board members can always use a helpin' hand with clerical and logistical projects connected with our Fall Roundup each October.
If you're thinking of joining us, we can always put your particular talents and skills to work. Our pre-requisite? Just a hard-working respect for the American Cowboy Way!

1) Contact info@visaliacowboys.com and express your interest via email, or letter to 1525 E. Noble #168, Visalia, CA 93292. Include your US mail address and phone number.
2) We'll add you to our mailing list and send you additional information.
3) We'll invite you to a business meeting and schedule you to help at one of our events, at your earliest convenience (where you can show us your Grit!).
4) If you're still standing after that, YOU'RE IN ! Actually, it's up to you if you're still interested in being a member! We can always use another hand ridin' for the CCC brand!
Many members of the CCC are current or past working cowboys, but
that's not necessarily a requirement for membership. Other members are lovers of the cowboy tradition and preservationists of the icon. And most all of us are lovers of the music and poetry. Whatever your connection, we'd be glad to have you join us. Give us a holler!
